Currently, there is no functionality to bulk download all data directly from the All Contacts screen in Contact Builder. To retrieve contact data, you must perform exports via lists or other methods. This article provides details in an FAQ format.
A. No, unfortunately, there is currently no direct method to do this. However, there are several ways to retrieve contact information by channel, which are outlined below.
Note: If you wish to identify unwanted contacts, please refer to the "Contacts Without Channel Addresses" section below.
There are two primary methods:
Export from List: Navigate to Email Studio | Subscribers | All Subscribers and perform an export.
SQL Query Activity: Use Automation Studio to create an SQL query that extracts data from the _Subscribers Data View.
For specific steps, please refer to the following documentation:
Export a List https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mc_es_export_list.htm&type=5
Data View: Subscribers https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mc_as_data_view_subscribers.htm&type=5
You can retrieve these by exporting a Filtered List. Set the criteria for the list based on data that is mandatory for MobileConnect or MobilePush contacts. Examples:
MobileConnect: Mobile Number is not null
MobilePush: Device ID is not null
For specific steps on the screen, please refer to the following documentation:
Export Contacts from a List (MobileConnect) https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mc_moc_export_contacts_standard.htm&type=5
Export Contacts from a List (MobilePush) https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mc_mp_export_contacts_filtered.htm&type=5
Create a Filtered List and export the Data Extension that is automatically generated.
Select GroupConnect and create a Mobile List with your desired filter criteria.
Click Data Extensions at the top of the screen.
From the list on the left, navigate to Data Extensions | Audience.
Click the Mobile List you created.
Click Export on the right side.
Contacts are sometimes created without an email address or phone number (e.g., during injection into Journey Builder). If you wish to identify or delete these contacts, use the Data Extract Activity in Automation Studio.
Create Data Extract: Create a Data Extract activity in Automation Studio.
Select Type: Choose Contacts Without Channel Addresses as the extract type.

A. This can occur when a new contact is injected into a journey in Journey Builder but has not yet been sent a message. For specific examples of when this occurs, please refer to the section "When do contacts appear without channels?" in the relevant documentation.
