The Maps package is now v260.20 and was released to sandbox on May 11, 2026.

 

  • Fixed List View distance calculation showing meters instead of user's configured unit (miles/km). Known Issue
  • Fixed Permission Group settings regression with missing "Allow User Override" toggle and addressed sunset feature references. Known Issue
  • Fixed Mobile V2 route waypoint names overflowing instead of truncating with ellipsis.

The Maps package is now v260.18 and will be released to Production Group 1 on May 4, 2026 and Production Group 2 on May 11, 2026. 

 

  • Fixed an issue where folder permission checks failed to continue processing remaining folders when the assigned user record wasn't visible. Folders with inaccessible user records are now correctly marked as inaccessible, and related async errors are reported reliably.
  • Fixed an issue where the Data Layer Configuration page in Maps Settings failed to load, displaying an empty state with no data layers due to an API routing error that directed calls to a legacy endpoint instead of Hyperforce. Known Issue
  • Fixed an issue where dependent picklists in Custom Disposition forms and Click to Create field sets displayed no values when Enhanced Mobile User Experience (EMUE) was enabled, due to a missing getElementByIdCS function in the Visualforce framework initialization within the EMUE container. Known Issue 
  • Fixed an issue where cloning a marker layer under a Corporate subfolder failed with a field integrity exception when the source layer retained its original maps__User__c value after being moved from a personal folder to a Corporate subfolder. Known Issue

This package only contains fixes for Maps, Territory Planning, and Maps Advanced. 

  • Fixed an issue where the Custom Actions page failed to load and showed an error when no custom Aura components existed, due to missing error handling for empty results. Known Issue

  • Fixed an issue where addresses with special characters failed to geocode due to improper encoding in UI requests. 

  • Fixed an issue where Maps pages failed to load for users due to missing field-level permissions required by newly introduced security access checks.

  • Fixed an issue where the "Plot on App Startup" setting couldn’t be enabled or disabled in Mobile V2, preventing users from controlling layer behavior on app launch. Known Issue

  • Added enhanced security checks. If your organization is managing access to Maps via custom permission sets, please ensure those include read access to all fields on the SettingsGroup__c object. See Methods for Managing Access to Salesforce Maps Products for details.

  • Fixed an issue where the Recent tab failed to load layers if a user lacked explicit permissions for a layer's top-level folder. Known Issue
  • Fixed an issue where "Plot on Load" layers saved in top-level folders, such as Corporate or Personal, failed to appear on the Recent tab. Known Issue
  • Fixed an issue where the Edit button was missing from the layer card immediately after saving and plotting a new marker layer. Known Issue 
  • Date values in marker layer display options may shift to a previous day after saving due to time zone conversion errors. Known Issue 
  • Resolved an issue where route waypoints and schedule events opened in the same tab, ignoring the "Open links in a new tab" setting. Known Issue 
  • Resolved an issue where changing the "Field to base style on" incorrectly disabled the "Assign Colors and Shapes for Unspecified Values" setting for marker layers. 
  • Resolved an issue where Assignment Plan runs could remain stuck in a "Queued" status if a system rate limit prevented the associated background job from being created. 
  • Record counts within a boundary may vary depending on the zoom level when plotting high-density marker layers. Known Issue
  • Fixed a Windows-specific UI glitch where map selection crosshairs persisted after opening the browser's search dialog. Known Issue 
  • Resolved an issue where exported KML files displayed "null" for marker names instead of the correct record labels. Known Issue

  • When using Map My Schedule, late arrival times for fewer than 200 seconds appeared rounded incorrectly to 500 seconds.

  • The map displayed up to five shape and marker layers, even when more were available. Known Issue
  • Salesforce Maps didn't honor permissions for restricting users from editing ArcGIS layers. Known Issue
