Admin Assist: Summary of Limits

What are any additional limits and details of scope for Admin Assist? 

Custom Labels
These text-based components that are referenced in Apex Classes or Visualforce Pages.  

Data Export
Admin Assist can create a Report for external analysis needs, there is also Dataloader and the Data Export feature in Setup that can export data as well as alternate API tools provided by partner products.

Data Management
Modifying a CSV provided to Admin Assist is out of scope. Should any changes be needed, we will inform you so the change can be provided in another CSV.

Files
Data, screenshots, etc. can be provided via the Case, Quip, or a Slack Channel. For security reasons, will not use 3rd party sharing links/etc. Please note for larger files may need to split or export from source with filters to reduce file size.
Quip - up to 2 GB
Case - up to 25 MB

Flow Builder
Flows are out of scope. Workflow Rules and Process Builder* are only in scope for updates (no creations) with Admin Assist. 
* - Starting Winter '23 and Summer '23 releases, we can no longer create new Workflow Rules or Process builders, but can still update existing rules and processes. 

Installed App Customizations
Customization or settings that are not in the Setup application (gear icon available with administrative permissions) are out of scope for Admin Assist.  These types of app settings are record-based or run specific app-based processes and logic Admin Assist may not be aware of from partners and 3rd party solutions.

Lightning Components
Existing components can be added or removed from Lightning Pages.  As Components are code-based, Admin Assist cannot create or customize Lightning Components.

Optimizer and platform recommendations
Walking through the Optimizer results or consulting regarding platform recommendations is out of scope as Admin Assist is not a consultative service. However, requests based on findings and suggestions are possible and can be submitted individually.
Please note, some requests may need additional information in order to be completed.

Product & Feature settings
Admin Assist is not aware of customer process implications. Turning features or settings on/off should be by the designated System Administrator.

Sandboxes and multi-environment management
Admin Assist can work in Sandbox environments however managing Sandboxes (refreshes, deletions, templates, etc) is out of scope for Admin Assist.  Please indicate on the Admin request what environment(s) work is to be completed in.

Tableau Analytics Studio/Tableau CRM
Analytics Templates for guided setup with product-specific questions around data type, format, and viewing is out of scope.  Templates can be re-created and tested by System Admins and each has a corresponding knowledge article.  Additionally, modifying any XML (Dataflow) or any JSON (Dashboard) is out of scope. 
Tableau Bots are out of scope.
Einstein Activity Capture is out of scope except for Permission Sets and license assignment.

Translations & Translation Workbench
Translations and Translation Workbench are out of scope for Admin Assist.

Salesforce retired the Admin Assist feature on June 30, 2022. Starting July 1, 2022, renewing customers with Unlimited Edition, Performance Edition, Marketing Cloud Enterprise+, or Premier Plus will no longer have access to the Admin Assist feature. However, you can continue using it for the rest of your current subscription term. For more details, refer to Admin Assist Feature Retirement.
