System Requirements and Supported Browsers for Quip

On June 6th, 2024, Quip users can no longer access Quip through the Quip desktop app for Windows or the Quip mobile app for Android. Instead, users must access Quip through a supported browser, such as the available browsers and applications mentioned below.

Quip is available via apps on desktop and mobile as well as via a web browser. Here are some guidelines to ensure an optimal experience. We recommend always keeping your device, your browsers, and your Quip apps updated.

Browsers

The two latest released versions of the following browsers are supported for the best experienc:

• Google Chrome
• Safari
• Mozilla Firefox
• Microsoft Edge Chromium

Mobile and Desktop Operating Systems

• Mac: macOS 10.14 (Mojave) or later
• iOS: iOS 13 or later
• Windows: Windows 7 or later (Note: Feature will be retired on June 6, 2024.)
• Android: Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or later (Note: Feature will be retired on June 6, 2024.)

Please note use of Quip with mobile browsers on iOS is currently not supported.
