Navigate to Account Settings by clicking on the circle icon at the bottom of the left-hand sidebar.
Profile
The Profile section allows you to set a status, update your name, add a profile picture and set your default language. Status is a great way to communicate with your team at a glance. Add add an emoji and/or a written status like, out of the office. Best practice is to add a profile picture so that your team can easily identify you when collaborating on documentation.
Notifications
Notification settings are available for Quip desktop, mobile, and email. Read this support article to learn more about notification best practices. Desktop notifications can be enabled here as well, which is recommended to ensure important notifications are not missed.
Appearance
The Appearance setting allows for various customizations.Adjust date formatting to coincide with the country you reside in and change the default font under new document typography. Control whether opening new documents will open them in a new tab or the same window under always open documents and select open links in the app to enable links to be opened in the desktop app.
Salesforce
For Salesforce customers only: this is your central station for connection to one or multiple Salesforce Orgs.
