Salesforce Billing Error "Failure You don't have Permission to read the field blng__PaymentMethod__c.pyzblng__EncryptedCustomerId__c"

The Winter '22 (234) release of the Payeezy payment integration now requires values for the Identification Type and Identification Number fields for ACH payments. With this update, a new field was added to the Payment Method object.

When processing payments using the Payeezy payment gateway integration, either from a community or as a guest user, the missing field permission can trigger the following error:
Failure You don't have Permission to read the field: blng__PaymentMethod__c.pyzblng__EncryptedCustomerId__c 
솔루션

Read permission on this field is required to process payments and must be added for all users including guest users and community users. This can be added in one of the following ways:

  • Add to an existing permission set assigned to these users
  • Create and assign a new permission set with read access on this field for all affected users. 
  • Add Field-Level Security (FLS) access for this field to all profiles for affected users.
