Auto BCC emails to your return address may suddenly stop working even when the feature is enabled in your Salesforce org. This behavior can occur in two distinct scenarios:
This behavior has two distinct causes. Review each scenario below and apply the resolution that matches your org configuration.
If you are connected to Einstein Activity Capture (EAC) with or without Inbox, all emails are sent from the connected account rather than directly through Salesforce. Because Salesforce does not have direct access to the connected account, the Auto BCC feature does not function in this scenario. This is expected behavior when EAC is enabled and is not a bug.
If the Enable Email Drafts feature is enabled in your org, it prevents Auto BCC from functioning. To resolve this:
After disabling Email Drafts, test the Auto BCC feature to confirm it resumes working.
