Users can Promote Articles in search results by using Promoted Search Terms. Adding Promoted Search Terms to articles will enable the articles to be returned when searching for that term using Global Search.
When the term that was added uses Asian (CJKT) characters and the term is too complex or has a lot of characters it may not be returned correctly when being searched.
Promoted Search for Asian characters is still in the early stages and is continually being developed.
At this time Promoted Search for Asian characters is not as robust as Global Search so you may find that a simple word is returned when added while another word is not.
For now, if the term being searched for is not already included in the body of the article, an additional field on the article can be created and add the term there.
Users can also try simplifying the term they add on Promoted Search.
For example, a Knowledge admin adds the Japanese term '営業活動' as a Promoted Search Term for an article, but users searching for that term do not see the article returned in results.
