Salesforce Flow Does Not Work with Filter Formula Deployment if the API (Application Programming Interface) Version is Less Than v55

Description

If we use flow version v54, sourceApiVesrion v54, and use package.xml API version v55.

You may observe the error: "Because All Conditions are Met or Any Conditions are Met is specified, you must specify a record filter or a formula".

OR

In this scenario, it may retrieve/deploy or may not retrieve/deploy the filter formula of flow.

 

Résolution

As per Flow Metadata Guidelines, to use and deploy filter formula successfully, customer has to use API version v55 or above universally (i.e. flow v55, sourceApiVersion v55, package.xml API v55). API versions below v55 are not supported.

If you face any challenges with flow filter formula deployment and using API version v55 or above universally (i.e. flow v55, sourceApiVersion v55, package.xml API v55), please contact Salesforce support.

NOTE: All API versions below 55 are not supported.
