Identify Which Salesforce Survey or Feedback Management Product Is Provisioned in Your Org

This article helps Salesforce administrators identify which Survey or Feedback Management product is active in their Salesforce org by checking Usage-Based Entitlements in Company Information Setup.
Salesforce offers basic platform survey functionality with 300 survey responses by default. There are 3 additional Feedback Management products available for purchase that each build upon the prior offering with additional survey responses and functionality. If an administrator has completed the Salesforce Feedback Management Implementation Guide and fully set up Salesforce Feedback Management, but expected features are not present, use the steps in the Resolution section to verify which product is currently provisioned for your org.
Products available:

  • Survey Response Pack — Offers additional survey responses in increments of 1,000 above the default 300. No additional survey features are included unless Customer Lifecycle Analytics is added separately.
  • Feedback Management - Starter — Offers 100,000 responses and advanced survey settings.
  • Feedback Management - Growth — Offers unlimited survey responses and the ability to track surveys sent across the customer lifecycle.

This resolution explains how to check the Maximum Survey Responses value in Usage-Based Entitlements and how to interpret it to identify your provisioned Survey or Feedback Management product.

How to View Your Usage-Based Entitlements

  1. As a Salesforce administrator, navigate to Setup.
  2. In the Quick Find box, search for Company Information and select it.
  3. Scroll to the Usage-Based Entitlements section.
  4. Locate the row labeled Maximum survey responses allowed for an org.

Interpreting the Maximum Survey Responses Value

Use the value shown in the Maximum survey responses allowed for an org entitlement row to determine which product is provisioned:

  • 300 — This is the default count for Standard Platform Surveys, available at no additional cost. Platform surveys do not include advanced survey settings. See Salesforce Survey Considerations for more information.
  • 1,300 or higher (increments of 1,000) — This indicates your organization has purchased the Survey Response Pack. Each response pack adds 1,000 responses above the default 300 and does not extend standard platform survey features.
  • 100,300 — This indicates you have purchased Salesforce Feedback Management - Starter, which includes 100,000 survey responses plus advanced survey settings and additional features.
  • Millions (unlimited) — This indicates you have the Feedback Management - Growth product.

Additional Identification via Profile Permissions

In addition to Usage-Based Entitlements in Company Information, it may also be possible to identify which Feedback Management product your org has by reviewing which user profile permissions are available. See Assign User Permissions for details on Feedback Management profile permissions.
