In the Salesforce Field Service Lightning Mobile App, a card titled "Create Service Report" appears as an action card on the Work Order record. This card allows technicians to generate a Service Report directly from the mobile app. This article explains how to remove this card from the mobile app for specific technician or service resource profiles.
The Create Service Report card is controlled by the Service Report related list on the Work Order page layout assigned to the user's profile. Removing the related list from the page layout removes the card from the mobile app for users assigned to that profile.
To remove the "Create Service Report" card from the Field Service Mobile App, follow the instructions below. Changes are made in Salesforce Setup on desktop and then reflected in the mobile app after clearing cached metadata.
After saving the page layout changes in Setup, the mobile app must refresh its cached metadata to reflect the update. On the Field Service Mobile App:
Once the metadata is refreshed, the Create Service Report card will no longer appear on the Work Order record in the Field Service Mobile App for users assigned to the updated page layout.
