How to remove the "Inventory" tab or option from the Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) mobile app.
To remove the Salesforce Field Service "Inventory" option from the FSL mobile app, follow the instructions below:
Desktop:
Step - 1:
- Login to the Salesforce Org as a System Admin
- Go to Setup
- Go to Object Manager
- Search for "Service Resource"
- Access the page layout assigned to the service resource/technician user profile
- Remove the “Location" field from the page layout
- Click Save
Step - 2:
Please check that the service resource does not have any Locations with their record
Step -3:
- Go to Setup
- In the quick find, search for "Permission Sets"
- Access the "Field Service Mobile Licence" permission set
- Go to "Object Settings" and remove access from "Product Transfer" and "Product Requests"
Step-4:
-Please ensure the service resource profile does not permit "Product Transfer" and "Product Requests". You can follow the following steps-
- Go to Setup
- In the quick find, search for "Profile"
- Access the "Service Resource" Profile
- Go to "Object Settings" and remove access from "Product Transfer" and "Product Requests"

Clear Cached Metadata (Profile > Settings > Advanced Settings > Clear Cached Metadata)
