When does FirstEmailDate populate?

FirstEmailDate only populates if the sent email is tracked and sent through Salesforce Lightning, or through the Outlook or Gmail integrations with Inbox and the Inbox mobile app.

When does FirstCallDate populate?

FirstCallDate is only populated for calls made through Sales Dialer or an openCTI (open CTI, Salesforce's telephony integration toolkit) integration.

Which records support these fields?

FirstEmailDate and FirstCallDate fields are only supported on Who records, such as contacts or leads.
