Data 360: Unmap and Delete the SFMC Subscriber Data Stream

게시 일자: Nov 14, 2025
상세 설명

As detailed in Marketing Cloud Engagement Data Bundle Information, the Marketing Cloud Starter Data Bundles include a data stream called 'SFMC Subscriber [MID]'. This data stream ingests contacts that exist in All Contacts in the Marketing Cloud Engagement account connected to your Data 360 org.

In some scenarios you may decide that you want to remove this data stream from your Data 360. Before you can delete this data stream you need to remove the mappings that are created by the data bundle.

솔루션

Follow these steps to remove the mappings:

  • Navigate to Data Streams tab
  • Search and open the SFMC Subscriber data stream
  • Click Review Mappings. Note: by default the SFMC Subscriber data stream is mapped to the Individual and Party Identification data model objects.
  • Click the Remove Mappings button (this button has a trash can icon) next to Individual. In the popup, you will see a list of dependencies and a Delete Object and a Remove Mappings button. If the Remove Mappings button is blue, click it to remove mappings between SFMC Subscriber and Individual.
  • Repeat these steps to remove the mappings between SFMC Subscriber and Party Identification.
  • Press Save & Close.
  • Click Delete Data Stream. Note: This triggers a delete request that needs to be processed, which may take a couple minutes.

When following these steps, if you find that the Remove Mappings button is not blue and cannot be clicked you will need to review the dependencies list in the popup.

Note: The dependencies that are listed in this popup is the list of dependencies that would need to be removed if you want to click the Delete Object button, which would delete the Individual or Party Identification object from your data model. Therefore, not all these dependencies need to be removed if you just want to click the Remove Mappings button to remove mappings between SFMC Subscriber and Individual.

A common dependency that prevents you from clicking Remove Mappings is the Identity Resolutions configured in your org. Expand the list of dependencies and scroll down to see if any of your Identity Resolutions are listed as a dependency. If so, please review the Reconciliation Rules for any of the listed Identity Resolutions. If any Identity Resolution is configured with Source Priority as the Reconciliation Rule for any fields, you will need to remove SFMC Subscriber as a source as follows:

  • Open the Identity Resolution and review Ruleset Properties > Reconciliation Rules by expanding all listed objects e.g. Contact Point Email, Individual etc.
  • If the Default Reconciliation Rule for any object is set to Source Priority, click the pencil icon to edit the settings.
    • Within the popup check if the SFMC Subscriber Data Lake Object is listed in the source order.
    • If it is, click the delete button for that row to remove it as a source.
  • If Source Priority is not the Default Reconciliation Rule for any object, check if it is the Reconciliation Rule for any fields on the objects.
    • If any field has Source Priority as the Reconciliation rule, click the field name to edit the settings and remove the SFMC Subscriber Data Lake Object from the source order.
