Salesforce Web-to-X is a framework used by the Web-to-Lead and Web-to-Case features, which allow you to capture lead or support case information directly from a web form on your website. To prevent spambots from submitting fake leads or cases through these forms, Salesforce supports Google reCAPTCHA verification. This article explains which version of Google reCAPTCHA is compatible with the Web-to-X framework.
The Web-to-X framework (used by Web-to-Lead and Web-to-Case) supports only Google reCAPTCHA version 2 (reCAPTCHA v2). reCAPTCHA v3 and other versions are not supported. To enable reCAPTCHA v2 on your Web-to-Case or Web-to-Lead form, follow the steps in the Salesforce documentation: Prevent Spam Cases with reCAPTCHA .
Note: Salesforce Support does not provide assistance with Google reCAPTCHA configuration or issues on the Google side.
