Updates to Include in Custom Permission Sets for Salesforce Maps Products

Julkaisupäivä: Aug 21, 2026

When Salesforce updates default permission sets, you must apply the same updates to your custom permission sets. That way your sales and service teammates maintain access to those products without interruption to their productivity. If access is not granted, you will see the following error on the page load: "Warning. You don't have access to some features. For a more complete experience, ask your Salesforce admin for help."

This article explains why the "You don't have access to some features" warning appears after a release, and lists the specific field and Apex updates you need to apply to your custom permission sets.

Why Does This Happen

Each release, Salesforce may update the default permission sets shipped with Salesforce Maps products. If your org uses custom permission sets instead of (or alongside) the defaults, those custom sets don't automatically inherit the new updates — so users assigned to them start seeing the access warning

What updates do I need to apply

Include these updates for specific fields, Apex classes, and Visualforce pages.
