Configure Salesforce to Support Knowledge Articles in Multiple Languages to allow users to create translated versions of Knowledge Articles for languages that have been configured to Support a Multilingual Knowledge Base.

When an article is submitted for translation, a new blank draft article version for each of one or more selected languages is created and assigned to either the queue or user specified.

The application does not automatically translate an article's content when it's submitted however, the following options are available for translators to work on creating or updating the draft article versions for translation.

Salesforce users who are capable to translating articles can do so directly in Salesforce via the following options depending on whether your organization uses Lightning or Classic Knowledge:
   
Alternatively, if articles are assigned to a translation queue, it's possible to Export Articles for Translation to provide them to a vendor or external resource to create translations and then Import Translated Articles using the updated article translation files.
