Salesforce's Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) auto-enablement does not apply to SSO logins. Meaning, MFA authentication is not automatically requested for logins via Single Sign-On (SSO), even after Salesforce auto-enablement. However, MFA is still a requirement for all logins to Salesforce.
To satisfy this requirement for SSO Users, a separate configuration is required to enforce MFA.
