The Help Documentation Create an External Activation Platform Activation Target outlines the steps to follow to create an Activation Target in Data 360 (formerly Data Cloud) for Google Ads. After following these steps, you may see that the Target Status shows an error with the details "Creation of this Activation Target failed".

Ratkaisu
This error has been observed when the user whose credentials are used to log in to Google Ads does not have Admin access to the Google Ads account. Please retry the steps and ensure that you are authenticating with a user who has Admin level access in Google Ads. Note: if the Google Ads account has a parent account the user needs Admin level access to both accounts.
