Engagement Studio operators and multiple values

Text input operators in Engagement Studio such as 'begins with', 'ends with,' 'contains', 'does not contain' don’t accept multiple text inputs separated by semicolons like the other automation in Account Engagement do.

An error "Multiple values not allowed" is shown if the field selected isn’t dropdown type.

Text input values separated by commas and/or quotes are considered as a single string when evaluated by Account Engagement Automation
Resolution
As a workaround, a complex rule can be used. There can be up to 5 total rule conditions to allow for multiple values to be input.
