When Upgrading from older version of NPSP error received "Visualforce Pages: RecurringDonations_AddDonationsBTN, RecurringDonationsSettings." (Nonprofit Success Pack)

When trying to upgrade from an earlier version of NPSP to the latest version 3.0 the error below occurs:

Salesforce has blocked this package upgrade because the new package version removes some Apex code that one or more Visualforce pages or global Visualforce components need in order to function. Please contact your partner with this error information. Provide these component names to your partner. Visualforce Pages: RecurringDonations_AddDonationsBTN, RecurringDonationsSettings.

In the past there were to separate installs/updates that were needed: Recurring Donations and NPSP Upgrade, yet now both of those separate installs have been combined into one, the NPSP Upgrade. If you have followed the steps below and still receive the error message this article will help

Løsning
To upgrade success there are two steps required

1.) Install/Upgrade Recurring Donations in your Sandbox
-Try to install in your Sandbox using either of these links below
https://test.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04t4w000001E96BAAS
https://test.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04t80000000tpCB
-Choose Install for All Users and then follow the prompts to install. The installer notifies you when the package has been successfully installed

2.) Install/Upgrade NPSP Package in your Production
-Try to install in your Production using either of these links below
https://login.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04t4w000001E96BAAS
https://login.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04t80000000tpCB
-Choose Install for All Users and then follow the prompts to install. The installer notifies you when the package has been successfully installed
