Error 'duplicate value found' on creating Recurring Event Series with unique field

Описание

When creating a recurring event series with a record that includes a custom field with a unique attribute, you may encounter the following error:

Error:- duplicate value found: customfield__c duplicates value on record with id: 00U**********

 

Note- This is expected behavior when using a unique field.

Решение

This is expected behavior when checking the "Unique. Do not allow duplicate values" option when creating a custom field. Duplicate values will be prevented in this field across all Event records in a recurring event series. There are no workarounds to this behavior when a unique field is involved in a recurring event.
