Inactive Salesforce CPQ License causes errors

게시 일자: Dec 10, 2025
상세 설명

After your Salesforce CPQ License expires, users may see CPQ validations if the package has not been uninstalled. The validation errors are commonly related to failed SBQQ automation, but they can also include references to failed custom processes such as flows if they include references to CPQ data.

NOTE: Users need to have an active license to make changes related to CPQ, including uninstallation of the package. Users without an active license are unable to view CPQ objects or data.
솔루션
The best practice is to uninstall Salesforce CPQ before the license expires. All references to CPQ objects need to be removed from existing automation. Leaving the package installed before modifying related automation causes errors. An example is if automation exists designed to modify quotes when the opportunity is updated. This process will fail after license expiration because unlicensed users no longer have access to the quote object.

If the license subscription has lapsed, notify your Salesforce Account Team of the license expiration. If the expiration was unintentional, the team can help reactivate your license. If CPQ licenses expired intentionally, a temporary license needs to be provisioned by the Account Team to help complete the package uninstallation. Please reach out to your Salesforce Account Executive for questions on courtesy CPQ licenses.
