Connecting Private Cloud using SAP S/4HANA Cloud Connector in MuleSoft Composer

SYMPTOM

You are trying to use the "SAP S/4HANA Cloud" connector within MuleSoft Composer and trying to connect with your Private Cloud system.
Based on the connector documentation to create the connection you need to provide the below details:
  
Base URL
The URL for your SAP S/4HANA instance, for example, https://{YourInstance}.s4hana.ondemand.com.

Username
The OAuth username that you use to log in to SAP S/4HANA.

Password
The OAuth password that you use to log in to SAP S/4HANA.

But you don't have any url as such to access your SAP S/4 HANA Cloud.
솔루션
CAUSE
The connector is based on the SAP S/4HANA OData API to fetch details from SAP and MuleSoft Composer is on the public cloud and dont support VPN connections. 
 

SOLUTION
MuleSoft Composer will not be able to connect to the private cloud through the VPN because it's on the public cloud and doesn't support VPN connections. 
Currently, we don't have a private cloud composer version for now. Composer also doesn't support static IP which you could use IP restriction to allow composer traffic to come in. 

This issue is not specific to SAP systems but any systems in private cloud will have the same issue.

Workaround:
As a check you can use Postman to connect through the SAP Cloud Connector. If Postman works (even that you are not using the restricted IP) then composer will also work.
