Marketing Cloud WhatsApp Business Account in Pending Status

You may notice in Mobile Studio | WhatsApp that your WhatsApp Business Account is in a pending status for longer than 48 hours. You may also see this status within the Meta Business Manager. The most common reason that an account is in "pending" for any extended period of time is due to an incomplete registration.

Ratkaisu

To complete the registration, please click "Add Account" and follow the steps documented in Set Up Your WhatsApp Account in Marketing Cloud. Please note that completing all steps are required, including the one time passcode. 

If a message 'Account Restricted' is seen, Business Verification needs to be completed.
