In Winter ‘24, we changed the translations for some standard object, tab, and field field names . This change affects Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, and Spanish (Mexico) language users.
To view the list of updated terms for each language, download the attachment below. For each term, we provide the English version along with the corresponding previous and new translation.
These terminology changes apply to all organizations with the Winter ‘24 release. If you want to keep the previous standard tab and field labels (from Summer ‘23), a system admin can explore options to change the name back using our “Rename Tabs and Labels” functionality.
For further information on renaming fields, see these topics in Salesforce Help.
For more information on the languages that Salesforce supports, see Supported Languages in Salesforce Help.
