Hyperforce Migration Impact for Salesforce CPQ: Common Issues and Resolutions

Organizations using the Salesforce CPQ Package might experience errors while using the application after a Hyperforce Migration. Please review the common issues and their resolution below.

1. Calculation error on quote Q-******: The requested resource does not exist



2. Custom Order Triggers below API version 45 will trigger an error:

The order {Order #} is not activated.
  • This error occurs during activation of an Order due to an incompatible API Version. Increase the API versions of all classes and triggers on the Order object to 45 or higher as stated in this this known issue to resolve the behavior.



3. Third-Party integrations might fail with 403 or 503 errors.

  • If you encounter these errors with your integration, please note that Hyperforce orgs change the valid IP ranges. As a result, Administrators should attempt to whitelist the provided IP addresses in the documentation below to see if this resolves the issue. Note that collaboration with the third-party integration services might also be necessary to update the IP ranges.
  • Hyperforce External IPs (you are guided to download a CSV file)



4. CPQ Quote Template errors when previewing or generating documents:

 core.apexpages.exceptions.ApexPagesGenericException: No Visualforce context has been established!
 
  • This is likely due to a Custom Source Template Content referencing a Visualforce Page URL that is invalid after the Hyperforce Migration, and it needs to be updated using the recommended Visualforce Page reference as mentioned in the Help article on CPQ Template Content. It states:
  • "To reference your custom Visualforce page in the Custom Source field, enter /apex/c__MyVFPageName, replacing MyVFPageName with the name of your Visualforce page. The Visualforce page and its components must be compatible with XSL-FO to work with Salesforce CPQ document output."

Note: any hardcoded reference to the old URL instance in the Quote Template can also result in errors and should be updated.



5. CPQ Quote Template errors when previewing or generating documents:

Error generating document: Service Unavailable
  • If you encounter this error, submit a new case to Revenue Cloud Support for urgent assistance.
  • Revenue Cloud Support requests login access to your org.
