Meta Work Account Migration for Marketing Cloud Applications

Description
If upgrading your Meta accounts to Meta work accounts, a re-authorization of previously connected Meta ad accounts will be required within the Marketing Cloud. The applications that are directly effected by this change are Advertising Audiences and Social Studio.

Resolution
Login to your Salesforce Marketing Cloud instance and re-authenticate any Meta ad accounts that are currently active. 

Ensure that the users who are re-authorizing the ad accounts have the correct Meta ad account permission level to prevent processing disruptions. A re-authorization will not effect any currently running audiences or campaigns, as long as the ad accounts have been pulled back in. 

To re-authorize an ad account in Advertising Audiences:
  1. Enter into Advertising Audiences Administration tab.
  2. Select the trash can icon next to your Meta accounts to remove the ad account. 
  3. Click on the Meta icon.
  4. Under the Meta browser window, click to allow Salesforce Marketing Cloud to access your Facebook ads and related stats, click OK.
  5.  Select all Meta accounts you wish to pull in and click Save
To re-authorize an ad account in Social Studio:
  1. In Admin, navigate to Advertising Accounts
  2. Click + Manage Advertising Accounts.
  3. Under Add or Remove Advertising accounts, click Remove Account
  4. Once the Meta ad accounts have been removed, click Add Account.
  5. Select from the available Facebook accounts and click Save. The accounts appear in the list of available advertising accounts.
