Email-to-Apex Email Services sends response as 'SenderAuthentication: No Authentication Check Passed'

Date de publication: Mar 6, 2026
Description

A user sends an email to an Email-to-Apex Email service which has Advanced Email Security Enabled that fails security checks and the user receives a bounce that says it did not pass the authentication. If the sending domain doesn’t pass one of SPF (Sender Policy Framework), DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) and DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance). It will result in a bounce.

Résolution
Work with your email domain administrator to ensure that the sending mail domain has properly set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.

Also, this behavior is working as expected however, the bounce message Salesforce sends has an unclear message. So we have added a feature issue to enhance the bounce message with clarification text in the future.
