Data 360: Access and Provisioning

Getting Access to Data 360

If you do not yet have access to a Data 360 account, there are a couple different paths to get one depending on your account type.

Data 360 Free for Enterprise and Unlimited Edition customers was announced at Dreamforce 2023 - check out the Free Data 360 FAQ. For this edition, please have an admin navigate to Your Account to see if you qualify for Data 360 Provisioning.

Note: You may still see the Data 360 Provisioning card even if you are not yet eligible. When checking out you will get an error that says “Data 360 Provisioning is not available in your region yet, please contact your Account Executive for availability.” 

Note: You may also get a message such as “Contact Sales”. In that case, please work with your Account Executive to finalize.

If you do not see Your Account, do not have the option to add Data 360 Provisioning, or upon checking out receive an error, check out some of the common reasons below.

Unsigned Quote

If you're not able to select Browse & Buy or get a banner that says "We're waiting for the order to be finalized with an e-signature. Purchasing is available when the order is complete", it means that an authorized user at your company needs to sign and submit the order form either in Your Account or through the link emailed to them. Once that is complete, you're ready to start using Data 360. If you still have issues, please work with your Account Executive for availability.

No Eligible Contracts

If you see "No Eligible Contracts" when navigating to Your Account, your account is not eligible to self-enroll. Please work with your Account Executive for alternatives.

Consulting Partners

Consulting partners can access a free trial org when completing the Data 360: Practical Experience course in Partner Learning Camp. These orgs are self service and can be requested via the Demo Org tab in Partner Learning Camp. Please use Demo Type of DCDO (Data 360 Demo Org).

Note: these trial orgs expire after 30 days and cannot be extended.

AppExchange/ISV Partners

Log a case with support to get Data 360 Licenses added to your Org.

• Note the Organization IDs for your Packaging Org, Test Org, and Security Review Org.
• Log in to the Salesforce Partner Community.
• Click the question icon and then click Log a Case for Help.
• Select Salesforce Partner Program Support.
• For product, enter and select Partner Programs & Benefits.
• For topic, enter and select License Request- Trial/Dev Org
• In the case description, indicate that you are an ISV Partner and require Data 360 to be enabled for your development environment. Provide the OrgIDs for the Packaging Org, Test Org, and Security Review Org.

Once orgs have Data 360 licenses provisioned, Data 360 Setup can be accessed by a system admin.

Provision Data 360

In some orgs, a system admin needs to first provision Data 360.

1. Click the Gear icon in the top right corner and select Data 360 Setup.
2. Click Get Started.

Assign User Permissions
To access the Data 360 app, you must add Data 360 permission sets to users who need access.

1. Navigate to Setup, and then click Users.
2. Select your user.
3. Click Permission Set Assignments.
4. Using the arrows, add the appropriate Data 360 permission set. Be sure you selected the correct Permission Set as there are several that look similar.
5. Click Save.
6. Click the browser Page Refresh button to pickup the changes.

Data 360 is enabled but having access issues?

Tableau Licenses

the two free licenses require working with your Account Executive after you activate Data 360 Provisioning.
