Unable to Log In To SFS Mobile App on Samsung Tablets With "Unknown error has occurred" or Crashes

Users are unable to log in to the Salesforce Field Service mobile app on these Android devices if the pin has not be set for the device:

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 

The tablets can crash or give the error, "Unknown error has occurred". Both devices feature biometric hardware support in the form of Face ID org requiring a PIN.

Note: The issue seems to be happening on the above-mentioned two Android tablets only.

Løsning

Set the Pin/Passcode for the device.
