When working with Standard Quote templates and generated quotes, when there are multiple fields on the same line, especially text area fields (i.e Product Description), you may notice that the currency field wraps the Currency value beneath the Currency ISO Code.
For example, if you have a Quote line item with Product Description and Unit Price on the same row, you might see 'USD' displayed above '$1,500.00' instead of 'USD $1,500.00' on a single line.
This currency formatting behavior in Quote templates is by design. When multiple fields appear on the same line (especially text area fields like Product Description), the system displays the Currency ISO Code above the currency value to prevent overlap between the code and the amount. No action is required — this ensures data remains readable without visual overlap.
This has been confirmed by engineering to be expected behavior. This functionality ensures there is no overlap between the ISO Code and the Currency value.
