Permissions required for fetching Managed package objects into CRM Analytics

Users, including the Analytics Integration user, intending to access object data from the managed package in CRM Analytics must have the managed package permission assigned to their profile, along with object read access. When a managed package is installed, a specific number of licenses are purchased from the package developer or publisher. These licenses must be assigned at the profile level within the organization to grant access. If all available licenses are already assigned, and additional users require access, consider reassigning licenses or acquiring more.

Assigning a managed package license grants users access to the package’s features and ensures they can use its functionality within the org. It also helps control and manage user access effectively.

Steps to assign Managed Package license to User profile:

  1. From Setup, enter Installed Packages in the Quick Find box, then select Installed Packages.
  2. Click Manage Licenses next to the package. To assign licenses for a package, you must have access to the package and at least one available license.
  3. To assign licenses to more users, click Add Users.
  4. To remove a license from a user, click Remove next to the user's name. To remove licenses from multiple users, click Remove Multiple Users.
  5. Click any column heading to sort the users in ascending order using the data in that column. Click the heading again to sort in descending order.
  6. If available, select fewer or more to view a shorter or longer display list.
