Einstein bot utterance search using direct match time limit is set to 5 seconds. When there are too many utterances added to the Einstein bot dialog either directly or via intent set, it may take more than the time limit causing the intent detection to fail. You may use bot session logs to confirm if utterance search for intent detection is taking too long before the failure.
If this is the case then remove any redundant utterances and follow best practices to the write them. If bot meets the minimum utterance requirements, then consider building the bot intent model. Refer to this documentation for more details.
