Special characters display as the # on CPQ Quote Documents

Description
Special characters used in Salesforce CPQ Quote Documents render and display as the # symbol when generating documents. For example, characters such as Ū or ł appear in the UI before generating the document. When the document is created, these characters change to the # symbol.
Résolution

The replacement of this text is expected behavior because special characters are currently unsupported in CPQ Quote Documents. The open enhancement requests to incorporate special character support in CPQ are detailed in the following links:
