WhatsApp Business Platform - Business Verification

Fecha de publicación: Sep 19, 2024
Descripción
Meta will ask you to verify your business. This process helps them confirm that your account belongs to a legitimate business or organization. While this process can often be complicated, it’s easy to imagine the types of scenarios that they are trying to prevent. Imagine if someone opened an account using your business name and began messaging on WhatsApp as if they represented your company. To avoid this, Meta will verify that you are an authorized representative of your company and that your company is a legitimate legal entity.

  • You only need to complete Business Verification once per Business Manager account and the vast majority of companies will only need one Business Manager account.
  • You do not need to wait until you’ve begun creating your WhatsApp channels.
  • In fact, you should start this process as early as you can as it can take some time to complete.

For a detailed description of how to verify your business, please consult Meta’s Guide.

Business Verification Problems

Business Verification can fail for a number of reasons, including:
  • Materials provided are insufficient to verify the user or business
  • Account issues related to policy violations across other Meta products
  • If your business name doesn’t match the materials you are submitting during verification

If you can’t successfully complete business verification, please first utilize the following resources (ensure you are logged in to the proper Business Manager account while utilizing these links):
  1. Consult Meta’s Business Verification Troubleshooting Guide.
  2. Check Meta’s Business Help Center for any outstanding account issues.
  3. Check Meta’s Commerce Manager for any policy issues related to your catalogues as defined in this article.
  4. Check the Security Manager page in your Business Manager account for any specific issues.

If, after consulting the troubleshooting guide and correcting any problems, you are still unable to get your Business Verification approved, please open a support case. Please do not skip any of the above self-serve resolution options as seeking resolution through a case will introduce a significant delay and should be used as a last resort. At a minimum, your case needs to include:
  • A screenshot of your Security Manager screen and any embedded content related to Business Verification. Please ensure you are logged in to the correct Business Manager account when visiting Security Manager.
  • Any feedback that you received from Meta during the Business Verification process.
  • The name of your Business as reflected in your Business Manager account.
  • Your Business Manager ID
