Salesforce Gmail Integration - Incompatible Chrome Extensions

If you install one of the extensions listed above alongside Salesforce Gmail Integration, you'll see a warning message and the Salesforce side panel won't appear in Gmail. This section explains why that happens and how to resolve it.

Why This Happens

These extensions each inject their own panel or UI directly into the Gmail interface. Salesforce Gmail Integration also needs to inject its side panel into that same space, and the two experiences conflict, so Chrome blocks or hides the Salesforce panel to avoid the clash.

How to Resolve This Issue

1. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions in the address bar.
2. Locate the conflicting extension from the list above.
3. Click Remove, or toggle it off to disable it.
4. Reload Gmail.
5. Confirm the Salesforce side panel now appears as expected.

If you need to keep using the conflicting extension, you may need to switch between enabling it and enabling Gmail Integration depending on which task you're doing, since both can't run at the same time in Gmail.
