Description

Google is disabling Manifest V2 Chrome extensions as soon as June 2024. Because the Engage for Gmail Chrome extension is built on Manifest V2, we're retiring this extension.

Resolution

Users can continue to use Account Engagement Sales Email & Alerts (formerly Salesforce Engage) licenses to send their emails directly through Salesforce instead of using the Engage for Gmail Chrome extension. We strongly recommend working with your Account Engagement users now to create a transition plan.

Google controls when and how it discontinues support for Manifest V2, which means that the Engage for Gmail Chrome extension may become unavailable or unusable at any time beginning in June 2024.
