GOAL

When installing Anypoint Monitoring agent for hybrid runtimes behind a socks5 proxy one of the challenges that could occur is to check if the sock5 proxy is actually working.

단계
To test the network access to the required Anypoint Monitoring backend resources cURL command can be used like:
curl -vv --proxy socks5h://PROXY_USER:PROXY_PASSWORD@SOCKS_PROXY_HOST:PROXY_PORT https://REMOTE_HOST:REMOTE_PORT
 For example:
curl -vv --proxy socks5h://user:password@socks5-proxy:1080 https://dias-ingestor-router.us-east-1.prod.cloudhub.io:443
A successful execution should not produce any timeout or connectivity error. Any HTTP response, even 4xx or 5xx, is considered successful in this case.
A successful response must be obtained for all hosts specified here depending on the Anypoint control plane used.
Note, Anypoint Monitoring agent for Hybrid does not work via HTTP proxy. Just trying to specify the HTTP proxy as the socks5 proxy will not work.
