Minimum Permissions for CI/CD Account When Deploying APIs via Mule Maven Plugin

Task

GOAL

Create a user profile to be used in CI/CD environments, with the minimum security rights.
Steps
Following are the mandatory permissions required to deploy the application to through Mule Maven Plugin to Cloudhub or On-Prem runtimes:
  • Create Applications
  • Manage Settings
  • Manage Application Data
  • Read Applications

NOTES

  • "Read applications" permission could be omitted to deploy the API but Mule Maven Plugin needs it to make sure it has been deployed. Otherwise, it will be deployed but the Mule Maven Plugin will get a 403 error message.
