Dependencies from Exchange missing in Anypoint Studio project

Publish Date: Jul 21, 2025
Resolution

SYMPTOM

I am getting an error:
Caused by: org.eclipse.aether.transfer.ArtifactNotFoundException: Failure to find abcd-1234-abcd-1234:test-api:pom:1.0.0 in https://maven.anypoint.mulesoft.com/api/v3/maven was cached in the local repository, resolution will not be reattempted until the update interval of anypoint-exchange-v3 has elapsed or updates are forced

CAUSE

One or more dependency has become corrupted.

SOLUTION

You need to delete your repository folder in your .m2 folder so it can reload the dependencies.

Steps:
1. Go to your local .m2 folder. If you do not know where it is, use this article:
Where is my settings.xml file?
2. Rename your "repository" folder to "repository_old"
3. Right-click on your project - Manage Dependencies - Manage APIs
4. Restart Studio
5. Try to reproduce the issue
6. If that does not work, double check your pom.xml and settings.xml values in this article:
How to use Enterprise Maven Repository credentials with settings.xml and pom.xml example
7. If that does not work, open a support case and attach your pom.xml and settings.xml with the passwords deleted:
