SYMPTOM

While running an application or accessing an asset from the Anypoint Exchange you are getting the below error:
MuleApplication,"3d017921-e627-xxxx-aebc-3ada069xxxxx","c4bb687c-xxxx-11ec-b077-005056bxxxxx","asset-link-api-e2e1-bc8d4695-xxxx",1,
"time=""2022-03-06T04:54:07Z"" level=error msg=""Failed to fetch /opt/mule/apps/asset-link-api-e2e1.jar.
message=No Exchange asset with groupId: 149fd9f4-f871-xxxx-ad0d-dae2b44xxxxx, assetId: asset-link-api,
version:1.1.0, classifier: mule-application, packaging: jar found, statusCode=404""

CAUSE

This error "No Exchange asset with groupId" is caused because the asset which you are trying to access was deleted and that version is not present and in turn, throws "statusCode=404"

SOLUTION

  1. Deploy the latest version of the asset in the Anypoint Exchange.
  2. Fetch the newer version of the asset in Studio
  3. Add the newly added asset to the application and rerun the scenario

Links to refer for reference:
To share an API, API Group, policy, example, template, or connector in either an Anypoint Exchange private instance or an Exchange public portal, create an asset
With the Exchange API, you can publish and consume assets, add documentation pages, add or edit categories, and even manage your public portals.
With the Anypoint Exchange Maven Facade API, Apache Maven clients can publish and consume Exchange assets, including most of the assets
Once the asset is published in Exchange, it can be further imported to use in the application.
