ANNOUNCEMENT

During the month of December 2021, Anypoint Platform's mailing distribution system will be migrated to a new email processing system.

This activity is being done as part of scalability and resilience improvements for the platform.

IMPACT

This affects outbound email alerts generated by the platform for the following systems:

  • CloudHub Custom Application Alerts
  • Runtime Manager Alerts
  • API Manager Alerts
  • Anypoint Monitoring Alerts
  • Access Management Alerts

The headers "mailed-by" and "signed-by" will be changing to values with the following structure:

*.mgn.mulesoft.com

Where * will be an internal identifier of any of the possible sources that trigger notifications across Anypoint Platform. (For example: mmp.mgn.mulesoft.com)

The "Sender" addresses used by the platform will be changed to the value with the structure below. (For example: no-reply=mulesoft.com@mmp.mgn.mulesoft.com)

*.mgn.mulesoft.com

The platform will continue to be configured with FROM address set to no-reply@mulesoft.com or anypoint-noreply@mulesoft.com

User-added image

We do not anticipate this migration activity to be visible to customers or have impact on any customer API's or Integrations.

However for customers who have strict inbound email filtering, it is possible the new alerts will be captured by quarantine rules implemented on email servers or email exchanges.

In case of any issues, we suggest to check spam filtering logic and quarantine rules on your mail server. This would require a conversation with the mail server administrator in your organisation. You may ask them to check for emails from no-reply@mulesoft.com to confirm if they are being quarantined.
