SFTP Error while writing when attempting to send a File

SYMPTOM

A user is getting error while writing to SFTP server. Connectivity works fine with successful response. we are able to upload files with WINSCP/Filezilla.

However, the below error is generated while trying to write files via mulesoft 
org.mule.runtime.api.exception.MuleRuntimeException: Exception was found writing to file '/Test.xlsx'

Error type muleunknown

CAUSE

The issue is caused based on how the FTP account was created. For example, there is path set as "/data/gbl/inbox/fish/Test". However, when logging into the account it logs you directly into the "fish" directory. Since the main path is exposed to a client connecting, the full path is required.

SOLUTION
In the example above, using path '/data/gbl/inbox/fish/Test/Test.xlsx' the file would be uploaded as expected.
