When the Call Control Component is present on the Voice Call layout, refreshing the tab is restricted due to the potential termination of the call. Consequently, any data updated during an ongoing call, through either a screen flow/ individual object linking flows/or LWC/Aura, will not be visible on the UI in real-time, despite being successfully updated in the backend.
To resolve real-time UI update issues on the Voice Call Record Page in Salesforce Voice (formerly Service Cloud Voice), remove the Call Control Component from the Voice Call page layout.
When the Call Control Component is present, Salesforce restricts tab refreshes to prevent accidental call termination. This means any data updated during an active call — via screen flows, object-linking flows, or LWC/Aura components — will not appear on the UI in real time, even though the data is successfully saved in the backend.
Removing the Call Control Component allows the page to refresh and display live updates.
Note: Removing this component may affect the 'Get Warnings to Avoid Ending Calls Accidentally' functionality. Review the impact of this change before applying it to production. See Additional Resources for details.
