Identify and Review Flows Built on a Salesforce Object

Date de publication: Jul 3, 2026
Description

Administrators can review all Flows built on a specific Salesforce object to analyze what automation is present and identify what may be causing unexpected data changes. This is useful when investigating record changes that may be caused by record-triggered Flows.

Note: It is not within the scope of Salesforce Support's offerings to review and analyze customer metadata, customizations, automation, or user actions to identify what may have created or modified records. For more information and available options, review the Records Created, Updated or Deleted Unexpectedly article.

Administrators can use two methods to identify all Flows configured on a specific object. Both methods are available in Lightning Experience through Setup.

Method 1: Use Object Manager to View Flow Triggers

  1. Navigate to the desired object's setup page in Object Manager.

  2. In the object setup menu, locate Flow Triggers.

  3. The Flow Triggers section lists all record-triggered Flows associated with the object, including both active and inactive Flows.

  4. Use the available column headers to sort and review the list.

Method 2: Use the Flows Setup Menu with a Custom List View

Alternatively, the Flows setup menu allows you to filter and review all Flows across the organization by their triggering object using a custom list view.

  1. In Setup, enter Flows in the Quick Find box.

  2. Open Flows under Process Automation.

  3. Create or edit an Enhanced Flows List View.

  4. Add the column Triggering Object or Platform Event Label to the list view.

  5. Use this column to sort and review all Flows associated with a specific object.
