After Spring 24, when trying to convert a Lead in NPSP, you may run into an issue if the user doesn't have read permission to the following fields.
Lead.fields.Name,
Lead.fields.FirstName,
Lead.fields.LastName,
Lead.fields.Company,
Lead.fields.Email,
Lead.fields.Title,
Lead.fields.OwnerId,
Lead.fields.Status,
Lead.fields.CompanyStreet__c,
Lead.fields.CompanyCity__c,
Lead.fields.CompanyState__c,
Lead.fields.CompanyPostalCode__c,
Lead.fields.CompanyCountry__c
Error: Check Your Permissions - You do not have the necessary access to use this feature. Please check with your Salesforce administrator.
OR
Error: You don't have the required permissions to perform this action. Contact your system administrator for assistance.
Login into your NPSP org.
Go to the Lead Object under Setup > Object Manager > Lead > Fields and Relationships
Make sure that the Running User’s Profile has read access to all of the above mentioned fields.
Once done Save > Refresh Page and try converting the Lead again.
