When a support agent selects the View Case button within a Swarm channel in Slack, the Case fields displayed may not match the Slack Record Layout configured in Salesforce Setup. This happens because the View Case button is controlled by a specific layout type called the Record CRUD Layout, not the standard Slack Record Layout.
This article is specific to the Service for Slack app (App ID: A01RDL2NJAH). To verify which Salesforce and Slack app your organization is using, see Identify Salesforce Slack Apps and Support.
Before configuring the Slack Record Layout, ensure that your organization has connected the Service for Slack app. See Connecting to the Service for Slack App for setup instructions.
