The following Slack Errors appear for a user in the Slack Workspace when connecting the Service Cloud for Slack app to the Slack Workspace:
Note: This article is specific to the Service Cloud for Slack app. See Identify Salesforce Slack Apps and Support to verify exactly what Salesforce and Slack app your organization is using.
Users may see this error when trying to connect to the Service Cloud for Slack App in following scenarios:
1. Only the user who originally connected the Slack app (for example, Service Cloud for Slack or Salesforce for Slack) to the Slack Workspace and its first Salesforce org can establish the initial connection to any additional (secondary) Salesforce orgs within the same Slack Workspace. Other users will not be able to connect the app to a secondary Salesforce org until that original user has completed the connection.
2. If the user who connected the Service Cloud for Slack App to the Slack Workspace isn’t the Slack Admin and lacks the 'Manage Slack app organization connections' permission, create a Permission Set. Then, enable 'Manage Slack app organization connections for Slack apps' under System Permissions.
