How to assign a different color for Grand Total only.

This example uses the Superstore sample data source and can be reviewed in the attached workbook.

Step 1: Create a calculated field 

  1. Click Analysis > Create Calculated Field. 
  2. Name the calculated field Sales or Grand Total, and type the following in the Formula window, and then click OK: 
    IF [Category] = "Furniture" OR
[Category] = "Office Supplies" OR
[Category] = "Technology"
THEN "Sales"
END

Step 2: Build the view 

  1. Place Sales or Grand Total and Category to the column.
  2. Place Sales to column.
  3. Place Sales or Grand Total to color.
